Hurricanes Open Up 2013 With A Win
A total team effort all over the ice and an outstanding game by team captain Keith Getson who had 6 goals on the night helped your Hurricanes earn an 8 - 1 victory over the visiting Truro Bearcats at Queens Place. The team got stronger and stronger as the game went on and the holiday rust going away.
This coming weekend, the Hurricanes squad are on the road for two games. Saturday night they visit the Pictou County Crushers and then head to Cole Harbour on Sunday to play the Eastern Shore-Cole Harbour Storm.
Currently, a NSMBHL regular season record of 15 wins, 3 loses and 5 ties have us in a three way tie for first place with the Cape Breton Cougars and Bay Gulls.
