Balmas makes Team Atlantic
Mitchell Balmas Cougar Alumni is one of Nova Scotia players that will be participating in this years World Under 17 Hockey Tournament being held in the local area.
Mitchell guided his major bantam team through two successful years in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League.
Cougar head coach Kenny Tracey "We knew when Mitchell came to us he was a special player and he has proven that over and over during his time at major bantam, on behalf of all of us with the Cougar organization, we wish our old captain the very best and look forward to watching him compete during the tournament."
For the first time since 2001, the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge is returning to Nova Scotia, as our area will play host to the world’s top young players in 2014.
